Jiu-Jitsu is self-defense that was created using techniques based upon principles of balance and leverage, and a system of manipulating the body in a manner where one could avoid relying upon strength or weapons. It can help you become more tolerant, respectful, and self-confident. EBA’s BJJ classes all train in traditional GI’s, however one is not needed to start.
What To Expect
Classes consist of a quick warm up and drills. You will work on technique and situational drills with a partner, and eventually move in to sparring rounds where you could apply some of that newly learned technique. All skill levels are welcome and encouraged to join. We offer beginners classes and more advanced as well.
